TTi has been awarded a CDC contract to conduct an evaluation of CDC’s Prevention Research Centers (PRC), a network of academic research centers. The mission of the PRCs is to work as an interdependent network of community, academic, and public health partners to conduct prevention research and promote the wide use of practices proven to promote good health. They also collaborate with communities to develop and conduct research that benefits the research participants and often broad communities as well
TTi will aid CDC in understanding the value of the PRC network as well as CDC’s impact on currently funded PRCs. TTi will also examine barriers and best practices in sustaining the network along with the types of collaborations occurring throughout the network.
