TTi has been awarded a CDC contract to provide rigorous evaluation services of health equity strategies to address heart disease and stroke prevention, as identified by CDC’s Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention (DHDSP). DHDSP’s mission is to provide public health leadership to improve cardiovascular health for all, reduce the burden, and eliminate disparities associated with heart disease and stroke.
TTi has been tasked with developing and implementing an evaluation plan to include quantitative and qualitative assessments, implement the evaluation plan and data collection activities, and to disseminate the evaluation findings. Findings will include an evaluation report, an evaluation translation document, a formal presentation, and a clearance-ready manuscript.
TTi will be uniquely positioned to aid DHDSP in understanding of the interventions’ impact on CVD and health equity. TTi has decades of CVD/stroke and risk factor expertise, and will utilize additional expertise, including health economics, to accurately evaluate intervention impact in diverse, generalizable populations.
