The client had developed a mobile app for data collection and personalized recommendations in the management of Type 2 diabetes patients. They needed to demonstrate their product would generate cost savings and improve patient outcomes, but did not have any published data. To create compelling Value Analysis Committee (VAC) arguments, TTi developed a health economic model using existing literature to calculate the improved outcomes that would be expected from using their technology. The model was interactive so that the user could input their own data during payor presentations for personalized budgetary impact results.
